Having an off day? Small ways to improve you life now.

I have a list.

A list of things that cheer me up and get me out of a slump on a bad day. A list that makes the world slightly less scary and unbearable. A list of things that are not hard to do and I don‘t have to do them well, nor do all of them. It‘s a simple list of simple things. I sometimes forget I have that list. Sometimes the effort to look at that list is too much, let alone take action.

Whenever I do, though, whenever I remember and try one of the things on that list. Not once have I regretted doing it.

This all came about while I was talking to a friend of mine yesterday, about how she was struggling as a social butterfly right now, feeling trapped and unable to stretch her wings.

I put together a list of small things to help you feel better whenever you're having a not so good day

Feel free to save it, download it, print it, hang it where you can see it often, just remember to only use it for your personal needs (no reselling, re-uploading, redistribution, etc)

I've had a list like that for myself for a while now. Working for myself, alone, from home, makes me feel off at times and I like to have something to pull myself out of that. Actionable steps that are easy to follow are exactly what I need when I'm in a mood like that and I never thought of sharing it until I gave it to my friend.
So maybe, just maybe, this is valuable for you, too.

Maybe that list will help you, too.

And remember

(write this down to pull out on future bad days)

It is okay to have a day where you don’t get things done.

It is okay not to have a reason for feeling bad.

Taking care of yourself is a worthwhile use of time.

If you still don’t feel better it is not your fault (and it is okay to ask for help).

Don't let whatever happened keep you from living your best life.
