32/100 - "Serendipity"
32/100 - "Serendipity"
Sometimes things work out in a way you would have never imagined before and sometimes they just... don't.
While in the studio today, I made a horrible mess of a painting I quite liked before and then I also painted this, the piece above. Today's painting "Serendipity" is a reminder to myself to not try and force it all the time, to let go.
Which, incidentally, is a very hard thing for me to do.
Every day I am more and more grateful for this challenge and what it helps me accomplish and what self-imposed blocks to break through.
I don't know yet what I'll do with the other painting. Let it dry probably, take a break before tackling it again. But with 15 minutes to spare I'm at least happy that I can send out something I am proud of. I quite like today's painting and it's lively lines and vibrant colors. How about you.
Do you feel serendipitous?
