What do you do just for the pleasure of it? I am such a workaholic, when I was asked what I do for fun, I honestly couldn't think of anything else but saying "work?". Which is a bit sad to be honest. So I sat down in true Julia fashion and made a list. A list of 10 things I like to do when I am off work. And I couldn't find 10 things. After 5 things I caved and asked for help from others. What do I usually enjoy when we hang out, I asked my friends and family? What do you do for fun? In the end, after much back and forth and one idea more ridiculous than the other, I finally came up with my 10 things. And I treasure that list now. Whenever I feel overworked or frazzled, I just have a quick look and decide on one of those items in order to regain my focus and lift my spirits. My empire-building side of the brain was finally convinced that this was not "a waste of time" or "frivolous" by argumenting (yes, I have silent debates with myself) that the more streamlined my breaks are, the more prolific my output will be. So, I'm curious...can you come up with 3 things on the spot you like to do for fun?
