I am all for hard lines and being consistent in your actions, but sometimes I create loopholes for myself. Some situations it is easier to just lie a little, utter a half-truth or white lie or whatever you call those things you are embarrassed about admitting to yourself. You try to tell yourself you'll do better next time or that you did it to shelter the other person from harm, but honestly, you're just continuing lying and this time to yourself.
I'd rather be honest and clear all the time. I noticed people don't take that so well, however. Or is that something I tell myself to be able to live the way I do?
