"Candlelight"
"Candlelight"
The other day, just when I started to paint, there was a power outage in my area. I stood in the dark with a palette full of freshly squeezed paint and colors in my head that wanted to be brought out on paper.
So I went and got some candles, as well as a selfie light (yes, that's a thing and I love it) and started to work with the little illumination I had. After several hours when the lights came back on I had painted 7 new pieces which now make up my new "Blackout collection".
Also new in this series, I use shimmering interference paints that give you different impressions depending on the angles you view the artwork from.
My three words for this painting are:
- Radiant. Flame. Glow. -
A3 (30x40cm), acrylic on paper, signed in the bottom right corner.
