This piece is a representation of the road you need to take in order to fulfill your dreams. When you have a goal you want to reach but don’t know how to get there and everything you try is an attempt to get closer, but you never know if it’s going to work or not. Sometimes you’re just lost and don’t know which step to take next, because you’ve ended up in so many dead ends already. You might be lost, wandering in the dark, but still trying to push forward.

Even though I’m wandering, not necessarily in a straight line, towards my goal, I am still learning so much. Just a person. Learning what I can endure. Finding out that this is my path and allwoing myself to make mistakes and grow. Growing despite of yourself, almost.

For me, Eudaimonia symbolizes the pursuit of happiness. I am trying to figure out what true happiness means for me right now. What does it mean to you? Being surrounded by your family, being free to travel, experience new things. I'm finding out what’s next and taking micro steps towards happiness.

Inspired by Tim Gunn’s catchphrase from Project Runway. Keep at it, do not give up, continue, see where it leads you. Really straight forwardd. It is what it says.

I say this all the time to people around me and most often to myself. Whenever I get stuck, when it gets really tough and I don’t know what to do next, how to breathe, Dory from "Finding Nemo“ pops into my head, singing „Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming."

Whenever you can’t make it work, fail to keep swimming, you pick yourself up again. When something doesn’t work out the way you expected. You can fail, you can fall, you can make a mistake, just get back up again, book it as a learning experience and keep at it, change a few things and try again.

Flow- my favorite state. When you are so immersed in what you’re doing that you forget everything around you! This is when things start to happen. Leaving the flow is almost like waking up from a trance. Since I am a very thought heavy person, being in the flow helps me to connect to my emotions on a whole different level, without my head interfering.

Inspired by a soundtrack I was listening to while painting, „Heaven is in your heart“ is a perfect representation of the moments when you have to go with your gut feeling. Trusting in yourself, in your heart, in your feeling, that something is the right thing for you
