I had to change school because we moved when I was 8 or 9. And at the new school I didn‘t have the easiest time. Kids played pranks on me, girls pretended to be my friends only to talk badly behind my back. Some of the boys would even wait after school for me to shout taunts and kick me. I was so severely bullied I internalized that something must be wrong with me. 

It took a while. And a very nurturing kind friend to help me be ok with who I am. I tend to always see the positive in any given situation and while that time in my life was awful I am proud of who I have become and how it shaped me. And this painting might just help you accept yourself for the wonderful person you are.
